- What time will the band arrive?
- Our standard arrival time is 5:30pm onwards. This means we're ready to set up as soon as the wedding breakfast and speeches have finished. For corporate and other types of events, we will always set up and sound check before guests arrive. Please enquire about earlier set-up fees.
- How long does it take the band to set up?
- We take an hour maximum to set up and sound check. If you would prefer, we can set up and then soundcheck just before we play. Lifts or stairs, general access may increase load in time.
- How long will the band play for?
- Our standard set times are 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes.
- How long are the intervals?
- We request intervals of at least 20 minutes but this can be longer to suit your schedule. For example it's often an idea to have a long break if evening food is being served.
- What time should the band start playing?
- This is completely up to you and your schedule on the day. We find it's often best to start the band at around 9pm but this is purely a guide.
- Does the band provide music between and before sets?
- Yes, we're happy to provide music via an iPad between sets. We have a fixed playlist on our iPad but If you have particular songs in mind, you're also welcome to create your own iPod playlists which can be played through the PA system. If there are specific songs you'd like on the night - we can get this ready for you (advance warning is essential)
- Will the band require refreshments?
- We request that the band is provided with soft drinks throughout our stay at the venue. We also request hot food for 4 members of the band. This doesn't have to be to the same standard as your guests - if there is an evening buffet, that will be available in between sets this will be absolutely fine.
- Can I come and watch the band play live before I book?
- We do understand that it's nice to watch the band live before you book but unfortunately the band don't play any public gigs at all. Hopefully the reviews and testimonials will give you peace of mind that we are completely professional, experienced in every type of event and very accommodating.
- Does the band provide their own PA system / Lighting equipment?
- Yes, we are completely self-contained so you don't need to worry about a thing.
- Do we need to hire a raised stage?
- No, a stage is always a great addition to a performance but is not a requirement.
- How much space do you require?
- We are very accommodating when it comes to space and can fit into just about any room or marquee. For weddings and events in larger rooms, we request 5 meters in width and 3 meters in depth.
- What are the minimum power requirements?
- We require at least 2 independent 13 amp sockets. If your marquee company has requested details, please advise that our PA system and lighting use approximately 5kw.
- Is the band PAT tested with adequate public liability insurance (PLI)?
- Yes, if the venue requires a certificate, please contact us and we'll forward you copy .
- How do I confirm a booking?
- If you've requested a quote and would like to go ahead with the booking, we'll need your full address and contact details along with the venue address. We'll then email over a contract with full terms and conditions included. This will then need to be signed and returned to confirm the booking. A deposit of approximately 20% will also be required, this is payable by BACS. An invoice with payment details will be included with the contract.
